Back in Montana

Montana Landscape

Just got dropped off here in Helena, Montana. I camped out near the railroad tracks three miles east of Garrison last night; it was cool, but not cold. I camped between the railroad tracks and the river. I hitchhiked from Kooskia, Idaho to Garrison yesterday. This guy picked me up in a Porsche convertible and somehow I lost my other sleeping bag in the process. If I have enough money, I will go to Walmart and look for a cheap sleeping bag later today. Yesterday was a red-letter day in my hitchhiking: I got rides from two consecutive convertibles.

In the past month, I have hitchhiked from Idaho to Washington (visited some friends in Dayton) to California. I did some work for my friends in Cedarville, California and then headed back to Dayton. I hitchhiked back and forth between Dayton and Cedarville a few times. I pruned some trees and cleaned up their repair shop/storage building for my friends in Cedarville; I hauled some boxes of food to town and also pruned some trees for my friends in Dayton. I didn't think I would be coming back to Montana and Wyoming so soon. On one trip from Cedarville to Dayton, I went through Winnemucca, Nevada and Ontario, Oregon. As usual, I met some very interesting people on the way.

Once I got picked up by a guy near Ukiah, Oregon and he took me to a church service in Burns, Oregon. It was the Bible Baptist Church and that preacher was anointed with the Holy Ghost! I have told several people about that church. I rarely go to church, but I highly recommend anyone to go to that church; they have a very good pastor at the Bible Baptist Church who is submitted to Christ.

I stayed overnight with Kim and Pat near Harpster, Idaho last night. Looks like they have some very good fellowship at an Apostolic and a Baptist church in the Kooskia-Kamiah neighborhood. We had a good talk about the things of God and on the power of the Holy Ghost. We watched the film The Hurt Locker that evening. I thought The Hurt Locker was a very good film.

The Presence of God has been very strong since I left Cedarville on the 20th of September. When the Holy Ghost is burning you up, it usually means something: it could be that the Lord is revealing something to me or that a Satanic stronghold is being taken out (intercession; the anointing breaks the yoke of sin; when the Lord glorifies your body, things really happen in the heavenly realm) or maybe something new is going to happen in my life.

After I leave the library here in Helena, I will probably head south to Three Forks and then to Belgrade and then mosey on south to Idaho and then into Wyoming. It is great to be back in the Montana-Idaho-Wyoming neighborhood. It is a beautiful day for hitchhiking, it is a beautiful day for living.

The Babylonish Church

This is from "Babylon the Great" - The Missing Cross to Purity:

"BABYLON is the spiritual fabric of iniquity; the mystical great city of the great king of darkness; built in imitation of Zion, painted just like Zion, that it might be taken for Zion, and be worshipped there, instead of the true, eternal, ever living God, and King of Zion."

"And here, in this there is a great difference between the vessels of Zion, and the vessels of Babylon. The vessels of Zion, they are weak, earthen, foolish, contemptible to the eye of man's wisdom, (which cannot look for any great matter of excellency there); but the treasure, the liquor of life in them, is precious. The vessels of Babylon make a great show, appear very holy, very heavenly, very zealous for God and Christ, and for the setting up of his church and ordinances all over the world. Thus they appear outside; but they are sepulchers; there is rottenness within. Under all this there lodges an unclean, an unsanctified heart; a heart unsubdued to the spirit and power of the gospel, while it makes such a great show of subjection and obedience to the letter."

"But their souls never knew the fire in Zion, and the furnace in Jerusalem; by which the very inwards of their spirits must be cleansed, before the pure eye of life is opened which can see Zion."

"And it is a spiritual city, a mystical city, a city built by the working of the mystery of iniquity, 2 Thes 2:7. whereupon she is called mystery. Rev 17:5. It is not a city of plain wickedness, but a city of sin that is hidden; of sin keeping its life under a covering, under a form of godliness; of sin reigning in the heart under zeal, under devotion, under praying, believing, worshipping, hoping, waiting, etc. Where sin lies hidden within under these, there is Babylon; there is the mystery of witchcraft; there is the painted throne of Satan; there is spiritual Egypt and Sodom, where the Lord of life is daily crucified. This is the city, the mystical city, the spiritual city. Rev. 11:8."

--Isaac Penington

Babel--"1. The site of a tower reaching to heaven whose construction was interrupted by the confusion of tongues, according to the Old Testament. 2.a. A confusion of voices or sounds. b. Noise and confusion."

Babble--"1. To utter meaningless, confused words or sounds."

Babylon--"A place characterized by great luxury and often corruption."

--Webster's II New Riverside University Dictionary

Joshua 7: 20-21: "And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it."

II Timothy 2: 16: "But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."

Two Dreams: A Christian Cult and a Jezebel Spirit

Elijah meeting Ahab and Jezebel in Naboth's Vineyard

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
9 September 2010

Last night I had two dreams. In the first dream, I was with this man, woman and child and we were in this church group—it was really a Christian cult. I warned the man and his wife about this cult.

We left that group of people and went to this church building. The people were all dressed up for a Sunday service. But something was wrong. The man and wife and child and I walked through the church and out the back. There were people waiting for us in the back yard of the church. These people surrounded the man, woman and child. I walked back into the church and the people were acting very strange.

I walked back outside in the yard behind the church. The group of people had turned into a mob. They had tied up the man, woman and child in ropes and had lifted them up and were carrying them to this altar to kill them.

It was then that I yelled, “Come out of them, Satan, in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth!”

The people scattered and the man, woman, child and I escaped that church.

In the second dream, I was in this city. It looked like the downtown area. There was this big building and there was this crowd of people guarding the building. I walked up to these two guys and they were trying to attack the crowd of people at the building; the two guys were across the street from the building.

Then this big guy from the crowd of people attacked our position with a machine gun. We hunkered down behind this gravel pile. I then grabbed some rocks and began throwing them at the big guy with the machine gun. He was firing the machine gun, but the bullets bounced off of my body. I kept throwing the rocks at him until he started crying and ran back to the crowd of people near the building.

I then ran towards the crowd of people and yelled, “In the Name of Jesus, begone, Satan!”

The crowd began to split off in two directions (it reminded me of the parting of the Red Sea in the Old Testament). Then I came face to face with this woman who was the leader of this group of people. I then spoke directly at her very forcefully, “Come out of her, Jezebel spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ!” Then the dream ended.

What is the difference between a Muslim who studies the Koran and rejects Christ and a "Christian" who studies the Bible and rejects Christ? Absolutely nothing.

John 5: 38-40: " And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them YE THINK ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life."

Shiloh
By Tim Shey

Brutal deathdance;
My eyes weep blood.
Pharisees smile like vipers,
They laugh and mock their venom:
Blind snakes leading
The deaf and dumb multitude.

Where are my friends?
The landscape is dry and desolate.
They have stretched my shredded body
On this humiliating tree.

The hands that healed
And the feet that brought good news
They have pierced
With their fierce hatred.

The man-made whip
That opened up my back
Preaches from a proper pulpit.
They sit in comfort:
That vacant-eyed congregation.
The respected, demon-possessed reverend
Forks his tongue
Scratching itchy ears
While Cain bludgeons
Abel into silence.

My flesh in tattered pieces
Clots red and cold and sticks
To the rough-hewn timber
That props up my limp, vertical carcase
Between heaven and earth.
My life drips and puddles
Below my feet,
As I gaze down dizzily
On merciless eyes and dagger teeth.

The chapter-and-versed wolves
Jeer and taunt me.
Their sheepwool clothing
Is stained black with the furious violence
Of their heart of stone.
They worship me in lip service,
But I confess,
I never knew them
(Though they are my creation).

My tongue tastes like ashes:
It sticks to the roof of my mouth.
I am so thirsty.
This famine is too much for me.
The bulls of Bashan have bled me white.
Papa, into your hands
I commend my Spirit.

Are We Disciplined to Obey Christ? - Oswald Chambers

An excerpt from My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers:

"Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:5

"This is another aspect of the strenuous nature of sainthood. Paul says, 'I take every project prisoner to make it obey Christ.' (Moffatt.) How much Christian work there is to-day which has never been disciplined, but has simply sprung into being by impulse! In Our Lord's life every project was disciplined to the will of His Father. There was not a movement of an impulse of His own will as distinct from His Father's -- 'The Son can do nothing of Himself.' Then take ourselves -- a vivid religious experience, and every project born of impulse put into action immediately, instead of being imprisoned and disciplined to obey Christ.

"This is a day when practical work is overemphasized, and the saints who are bringing every project into captivity are criticized and told that they are not in earnest for God or for souls. True earnestness is found in obeying God, not in the inclination to serve Him that is born of undisciplined human nature. It is inconceivable, but true nevertheless, that saints are not bringing every project into captivity, but are doing work for God at the instigation of their own human nature which has not been spiritualized by determined discipline."

EARTHQUAKE!

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
7 September 2010

Last night I had a dream where I was in Buffalo, Wyoming. I was walking on the side of this mountain when the earth began to shake; the ground gave way underneath me. I then walked some more up the mountain and the earth shook again and the earth gave way underneath me. I began to walk a third time up the mountain and the earth shook again and the earth gave way underneath me. The earth shook three times in a span of maybe sixty seconds.

I believe the earth shaking three times in sixty seconds means something. Could it mean three days? Three weeks? I am not sure.

Consecrated to the Will of God - Watchman Nee

The Normal Christian Life
By Watchman Nee

Chapter 6: “The Path of Progress: Presenting Ourselves to God”

Page 102: “On one occasion a Chinese brother was traveling by train and found himself in a carriage together with three non-Christians who, in order to beguile the time, wished to play cards. Lacking a fourth to complete the game, they invited this brother to join them. ‘I am sorry to disappoint you,’ he said, ‘but I cannot join your game for I have not brought my hands with me.’ ‘Whatever do you mean?’ they asked in blank astonishment. ‘This pair of hands does not belong to me,’ he said, and then there followed the explanation of the transfer of ownership that had taken place in his life. That brother regarded the members of his body as belonging entirely to the Lord. That is true holiness.

“Paul says, ‘Present your members as servants to righteousness unto sanctification [A.V. ‘holiness to the Lord’ (Exod. 28:36)]. I gave myself over wholly to Christ: that is holiness.”

Page 103: “Then to what are we to be consecrated? Not to Christian work, but to the will of God, to be and to do whatever he requires.”

A Pie in the Face and a Riot in a Church

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
1 September 2010

Last night I had a dream where I was sitting in a church. This church was packed with people; it looked like someone’s funeral; the men wore suits and the women wore nice dresses. During the funeral service, this man stood up in his pew and was going to give a small speech about the man who recently died. The man who died obviously was well-known in the community—maybe a prominent businessman. The man who stood up to give his speech barely started speaking when I turned and saw this woman take a crème pie and throw it at him—the pie hit him in the face. The amazing thing is that the woman was twenty or thirty feet away. She really hit the target.

There was a great uproar in the church after this happened. The woman who threw the pie was dressed very proper. She seemed very civilized except that she threw a pie in a man’s face in a church. It seemed so out of place that she would do such a thing. After she threw the pie, she began to cry. She said something like, “I didn’t want to throw the pie! I don’t know why I did it! It’s like someone made me throw the pie!”

I walked over to this woman and told her, “You were supposed to throw that pie in his face because he is a false Christian.” The place turned into a riot—I think there were people having fistfights. I believe another reason she threw the pie was because the man who died was a false Christian. The man who was trying to give the speech was a friend of the deceased; he was going to lie about a man who lived a lie.

I walked away from the church with my friends. We walked into this building and talked with this man. I told him about the riot in the church. Then he said, “Let us pray.” We all bowed our heads to pray, but nobody said anything. Then the dream ended.

A Laconic Answer - Sparta & Macedonia

This story, another famous anecdote about the Spartans’ bravery, is from the time of Philip of Macedon (382-336 B.C.), who forcibly unified most of Greece’s cities.

"Long ago the people of Greece were not united, as they are today. Instead there were several cities and states, each with its own leader. King Philip of Macedon, a land in the northern part of Greece, wanted to bring all of Greece together under his rule. So he raised a great army and made war upon the other states, until nearly all were forced to call him their king. Sparta, however, resisted.

"The Spartans lived in the southern part of Greece, an area called Laconia, and so they were sometimes called Lacons. They were noted for their simple habits and their bravery. They were also known as a people who used few words and chose them carefully; even today a short answer is often described as being 'laconic.'

"Philip knew he must subdue the Spartans if all of Greece was to be his. So he brought his great army to the borders of Laconia, and sent a message to the Spartans.

"'If you do not submit at once,' he threatened them, 'I will invade your country. And if I invade, I will pillage and burn everything you hold dear. If I march into Laconia, I will level your great city to the ground.'

"In a few days, Philip received an answer. When he opened the letter, he found only one word written there.

"That word was 'IF.'"

This is a comment from YouTube (
The Greatest Speech in History? Alexander the Great & The Opis Mutiny - YouTube):

"Phillip the II did not go all the way south into Sparta for a funny reason. He asked if he would be received as a friend or foe in the land and the Spartan council replied 'Neither.' He then angrily replied and advised the Spartans to surrender, for if they didn't, he would bring his armies into the country and burn Sparta to the ground. The Spartans replied 'If.'"

This story reminds me of the 101st Division (U.S. Army) in Bastogne, Belgium in December 1944. The 101st Division was surrounded by the German Army and the Germans asked for their surrender. General McAuliffe sent them a written reply: “NUTS!”

The influence of Alexander the Great can be seen to this day: the Greek New Testament is being taught in Christian Bible colleges and seminaries all over the world. I have always thought that the Lord put Alexander the Great in power so as to defeat the Persian Empire. The New Testament is probably more readable in the Greek than in the Persian language.

The Inward Cross - Hall Worthington

"It is a cross to a man's will to sit waiting on God, silently listening, struggling to keep his mind from wandering; it is a cross to a man's will to obey what he is commanded and taught by the Holy Spirit; this is the cross of which you must deny yourself and pick it up every day, to then follow Jesus. To obey his voice is to follow Jesus. This is how to do what you have prayed for a thousand times: thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. You cannot be his disciple unless you pick up your cross daily and follow his orders. Salvation is only received by those who follow the lamb wherever he goes - who obey completely the voice of the Lord, in whatever he commands."
