Upon Mount Zion Shall Be Deliverance

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
24 October 2010

Obadiah 17-21:

“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.”

“The anointing breaks the yoke of sin.”

In the Presence of God shall be deliverance. Those who abide in Christ and are open to the power of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost Fire will break off any demonic bondage.

“And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau [demonic bondage] for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau: for the Lord hath spoken it.”

“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion [the Presence of God] to judge the mount of Esau [unbelievers]; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.”

“The spiritual man judgeth all things.”

“Those who led by the Spirit shall be called sons.”

Obedience: The Bondage Breaker

  1. I find it easy most of the time to know where people are in their spiritual paths. When an unbeliever is devoid of the spirit, it is easy to know the state of his or her heart, and to see which of his actions are towards God, and which are towards himself (egotism, sin, etc.) I feel that I am climbing a mountain slope that not many get to see, and it allows me to recognize where other people are in their climb. Most are still seeking in their various ways.

And yet I find it impossible to turn anyone away, or to look on them with anything less than compassion, because I feel that I am no better than they. When the judgment comes, I know I will be upon the mountain, prostrating myself in exchange for everyone else. No one is worthy of God's love, and yet all people deserve to know it, because we all suffer so much.

I don't know what the Bible means when it speaks of judgment, but it can't mean judgment as we understand it in our own social systems, because I know that I would fight for the salvation of every single soul. If I had to, I would even fight against "God," and I think that's the conviction God wants from me. Yes, God, I would even fight You to save them. I think it is upon the actions of a savior that humanity is saved, and not the actions of humanity. It wouldn't make sense any other way. It seems to be the task of every savior to redeem mankind, whether the rest are "worthy" or not. I think God wants it that way.

To me, judgment and forgiveness are the same.... People won't believe if they feel they are not forgiven. People can't have a relationship with God until they know that God loves them. There is judgment... when I first knew God and realized what God was, every pain I had ever inflicted on another came back to me tenfold... but following that judgment was forgiveness and the pure sweet presence of God. I knew peace, and I was saved.

I think this is what judgment is. Judgment and salvation are the same. There cannot be salvation without judgment... but I trust in God that everyone will know salvation. And if there are any left behind, I would stay for them.
