This is a PERVERSE Generation!

The Temptation of St. Anthony by Hieronymus Bosch, 1502

What has America become?

Editor,

Has America become the land of special interest and home of the double standard?

Lets see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress lies to us its just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're racist and if a black person dislikes whites, its their 1st Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don't burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we got rid of communist and socialist threats by renaming them progressive; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against President Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burned an American flag or George Bush in effigy it was your 1st Amendment right.

You can have pornography on TV or the internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in America, they are now called sick people; we can use a human fetus for medical research, but it is wrong to use an animal.

We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who don't want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when it supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land of hand outs; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the gulf oil spill is that neither president did anything to help.

And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their reelection campaign.

What has happened to the land of the free and home of the brave?

"Democracy destroys itself because it abuses its right to freedom and equality. Because it teaches its citizens to consider audacity as a right, lawlessness as a freedom, abrasive speech as equality, and anarchy as progress."

  1. Great Post Tim.
I'm cheering, applauding, shouting Amen! Hear Hear (a cheer)... to this Ken Huber for his political incorrectness and great truth.. Hear Hear (a cheer) to Tim Shey for knowing the truth and posting this. And, Hear Hear (to shout the expression as a plea) to the American people to stop the insanity, throw out the liberal, politically correct law makers, political leaders and educators who are ruining our country.
    >>>> Tim, about 8 years ago I was playing golf in California north of Los Angeles... There were very severe warning signs on the course about restricted areas that were protected habitat for some tiny frog. The sign sent chills up my spine because these little frogs were held as sacred and revered as almost as if they were to be worshiped. I truly sensed a demonic spirit as if I was in the midst of something to be deemed as holy. It made me shiver...That same day on the radio I was listening to some screeching liberal talking about the need to fight and protect Abortion rights for women. The scripture of Romans 1:28 rang loud in ear that day, "And even as they did not retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things were are not convenient."
Dear God forgive us. May America and the world repent.
God bless and preserve the saints.

  2. Thanks, Randy. As we can see in Romans Chapter 1, when man began to worship the creation and not the Creator, the Lord gave them over to a reprobate mind--and this is really the beginning of sin in the earth.

Adam LISTENED to the creature Lucifer and did NOT LISTEN TO/DID NOT OBEY his heavenly Father. He ate of the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, sinned and died spiritually. I really believe this enviro-pagan garbage like Earth First and Sierra Club might be the most wicked religion on the planet. It is modern Baal Worship. And this enviro devil worship leads to many other sins.

America has sown to the wind and we have been reaping the whirlwind for years now. God is not mocked: sin ALWAYS plays itself out.

  3. Sad but true. We are in for it and its been just a matter of time. We will indeed reap the whirlwind. God help us.

  4. Thanks, Ron. When weathering the storm of God's judgments, the unbelievers and lukewarm Christians will be exposed and cast away--or else they will repent and turn to Jesus Christ. The people who are truly surrendered to Christ will survive and grow stronger spiritually from the adversity they experience. What won't kill you will only make you stronger.

  5. Wow what a great post, really enjoyed reading it. It was sad to see how true this message is. I'm only 20 and it's really disappointing to see how my generation acts. But I really did enjoy this post, keep it up.

  7. Greetings! I just found your blog through Digihitch, specifically your "The Things I Carry" blog posting. I'm so glad I clicked over here. Wonderful post this. Before I hit the road in late September, I look forward to diving into this blog and learning some. I even thought that if possible I'd print out posts and bring them for some reading material.

While many would rather have Christians keep their religion in the closet (while wanting perversion accepted as normal in public) it's nice to see a blog by someone so very outspoken about their faith!

    Be well and God Bless!
