This is from the blog Richard's Watch:

Now [in Haran] the LORD said to Abram, “Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you.

“And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].

“And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language towards you; in you ALL the families and kindred of the earth will be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].” (Genesis 12:1-3 Amplified Bible)

I was reminded of this passage last weekend as being the explanation for the amazing news of financial markets in the US defying the tumult convulsing rest of the world!

Bloomberg reports: “If we looked at the world through just a U.S. lens, it would all seem quite sublime. Geopolitics and geo-tensions are far from it, however,” Marty Mitchell, former head government bond trader at Stifel Nicolaus & Co. and now an independent strategist, said in his daily newsletter Thursday. “It’s just a strange and disconcerting world that we live in, yet the U.S. equity market and the U.S. economy just keep chugging along”; …‘for now, investors may have good reason to be confident in U.S. assets amid the global turmoil. (but) that doesn’t mean they can ignore the events offshore, such as Turkey,’ says Peter Boockvar, chief investment officer of Bleakley Financial Group.”

To me this speaks of a consequential blessing coming upon the United States because president Trump recognises Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state of Israel and therefore relocated the US embassy there. (The next day Guatemala moved theirs too and their ambassador reports that on the day its doors opened no crime was reported in her homeland for the first time in its history! – ICEJ editorial, Word From Jerusalem.)

And today upon reading William Koenig’s Eye View from the White House Genesis 12 crops up again:

I just finished reading DEATH OF A NATION:  Plantation Politics and the Making of the Democratic Party by Dinesh D'Souza.  It is an excellent read.  I hope many people--especially Christian Patriots--read this book.

Excerpt from page 222:

"So let's draw out the analogy between the old slave plantation and the new urban plantation.  In both cases we have a group that doesn't work, refuses to work, is sexually dissolute and obsessed with luxurious display, status and respect, and gets into duels--sometimes lethal duels--over petty objects like a pair of sneakers or insults.  Just to be clear, I am not making a predictable comparison between the inhabitants of the urban plantation and the slaves.  Rather, I am making one between the inhabitants of the urban plantation and the slave-owners.

"The Democratic planter class, after all, was made up of people who did nothing, whiling away their time in duels, sexual chicanery, card games, cockfights and luxurious displays.  And they could get by with doing nothing because they relied on the slaves to do all the work.  While their ideology proclaimed the slaves to be dependent on them, they were in fact dependent on the slaves.  On the urban plantation, too, inhabitants do little or no productive work.  And most of them can manage without employment because in one way or another they are dependent on the federal government.

A Leader Will Come Out of Hollywood

Last night I had a dream. It looked like I was somewhere on the west coast. I met several people; it looked like they were on vacation. We started talking and they said that they did not support our military intervention in Iran. I told them that we are freeing the people of Iran from Islamic tyranny. 

Then I met these two guys. I told them that I spoke in a French tongue. Immediately, they began to speak in tongues--in the exact French tongue that I speak. I asked them what I was saying (because I don't understand French). One of the guys said, "You are saying that a leader will come out of Hollywood."

Last night I had two dreams with Donald Trump.

In the first dream, I was traveling with President Trump.  He was meeting with people, talking to people:  the general needs to visit his troops.

The next scene:  we were sitting in this restaurant having some breakfast, when someone placed a book on the countertop.  It was my second book:  The First Time I Rode a Freight Train & other hitchhiking stories.

I said, "What is this book doing here?"

Right away, President Trump took my book, opened it up and began writing some comments in the margins.  He told me that he had read the book and liked it a lot.  We spoke for a long time, but I forget most of the details.

I then woke up and was surprised that it was all a dream.  It seemed so real:  I was talking with President Trump.

I went back to sleep.  Then I had another dream with Donald Trump.  We spoke with each other for quite some time.  It was similar to the previous dream.

Genesis 41:32:  "And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass."

When a dream is repeated twice during the same night, it definitely means something.  In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established.

Last night I had a dream where I was driving this tractor-trailer.  Sitting in the cab of the truck with me was Donald Trump.  We were hauling heavy equipment.  We couldn't find a place to park the tractor-trailer, so I drove to this lot next to this job site and parked it there.  I told Donald Trump that I had parked trucks there before.  The owner of the lot walked up to our truck and I asked him if I could park our tractor-trailer there for a short while.  He said it would be all right to park it there for a few days.

Last night I had a dream where I saw Donald Trump dressed in a business suit sitting comfortably on top of this bed. He was surrounded by many people—they looked like reporters. Trump was casually talking to the reporters.

When Bill Clinton was elected in 1992,  I was disturbed that such a man would be in the White House.  For three months, I prayed and asked the Lord why Bill Clinton was elected.  Then the Lord showed me Psalm 92.

Psalm 92: 7:  "When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever."

The Lord puts people in power as He pleases.  The Lord put King Ahab in power in ancient Israel because the people of Israel had turned their backs on the Lord.  Ahab married a very wicked, pagan woman, Jezebel, and Jezebel incited Ahab to sin against the Lord.  Ahab was a weak man and Jezebel was a domineering woman.

I Kings 16: 31-33:  "And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.  And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.  And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him."

I Kings 18: 4:  "For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water."

I Kings 21: 25:  "But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up."

While Bill Clinton was President of the United States, I always told people that Bill Clinton was bad, but that his wife, Hillary, was ten times worse.  To me, Hillary Clinton, was the Jezebel power behind the throne.  She had a big influence on Bill Clinton's life and politics.

I was hitchhiking in Nebraska a number of years ago and this guy picked me up and took me all the way into Oklahoma.  He said that he had a friend that was in the Secret Service.  He said that the Secret Service would fly Hillary Clinton's girlfriends in from Hollywood to the White House every weekend.  So it is no accident that Bill Clinton was pro-homosexual.

Now that more states are making homosexual marriages legal in the United States, you will see more of God's wrath on this country (like the drought, Superstorm Sandy).  Homosexuality is a sin; it is a mockery of God-ordained marriage between a man and a woman.  The sin of homosexuality is like the sin of bestiality.

Right now we have a President, Barack Obama, who is operating under a Satanic anointing.  His Secretary of State is Hillary Clinton.  Demons of a feather flock together.  The sins of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (they are pro-abortion, pro-homosexual and pro-enviro-pagan) have brought God's judgment on the United States.

II Kings 9: 10:  "And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her."

Last night I had a very long dream, but most of the details are gone from me now.  The part of the dream that I remember was at the very end.  I was with President Lyndon Johnson (1963-1969) and he was acting very strange.  We walked into this room where he knelt down and put a loaded revolver to his head.  I closed my eyes and put my hands over my ears and said, “Don’t do it!”  I opened my eyes and saw the dead body of President Johnson—it looked like he had put a bullet through his head; his face was covered with blood.

Maybe this dream means that President Johnson’s brand of liberalism will die out in the future.

Last night I had a dream where I saw a younger LBJ:  he wasn’t President, but still a U.S. Senator.  LBJ was talking with a few other U.S. Senators.  They were conspiring against JFK.  It was a very long dream, but most of the details are gone from me now.

In this dream, LBJ represents the Deep State; JFK represents President Donald Trump.  The Deep State is comprised of establishment Democrats and Republicans who are trying to undermine President Trump’s agenda.  Some people think that LBJ was behind JFK’s assassination in 1963.

If powerful men cannot kill you, they will engage in character assassination and smear campaigns to ruin your reputation.

Earlier today I got a ride from Lewiston to Grangeville, Idaho.  I walked out of Grangeville about a half mile and this car pulled over to give me a ride.  It was an older couple.  They knew some friends of mine that lived in the Kooskia neighborhood.  They said that they could drop me off at my friends' place.

As we were driving down the road, the husband told me about a vision that an ex-Muslim had from the Lord.  He had been a dyed-in-the-wool Muslim for a number of years and then he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.  He had been in hiding because he had a lot of death threats from his Muslim family.

Here is the ex-Muslim's vision:

He saw the Lord in all of His glory.  Then he saw George Washington kneeling before the Lord.  George Washington was pleading with the Lord and said, "Please don't let the wicked take over my country [the United States]."

The Lord replied, "I will not let the wicked [unrepentant abortionists, homosexuals, earth worshippers, etc] take over your country, but I will have to destroy it first."

Last night I had a dream where Barack Obama resigned as President of the United States.  There was a meeting of Obama's aides in a room in the White House.  They were all saying goodbye to Obama.  A few of his aides left the room without saying a word.  Obama was upset that they left without saying anything positive about his presidency.

All knew that this interest was somehow the cause of the war. To strengthen, perpetuate, and extend this interest was the object for which the insurgents would rend the Union even by war, while the Government claimed no right to do more than to restrict the territorial enlargement of it. Neither party expected for the war the magnitude or the duration which it has already attained. Neither anticipated that the cause of the conflict might cease with or even before the conflict itself should cease. Each looked for an easier triumph, and a result less fundamental and astounding. Both read the same Bible and pray to the same God, and each invokes His aid against the other. It may seem strange that any men should dare to ask a just God's assistance in wringing their bread from the sweat of other men's faces, but let us judge not, that we be not judged. The prayers of both could not be answered. That of neither has been answered fully. The Almighty has His own purposes. "Woe unto the world because of offenses; for it must needs be that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh." If we shall suppose that American slavery is one of those offenses which, in the providence of God, must needs come, but which, having continued through His appointed time, He now wills to remove, and that He gives to both North and South this terrible war as the woe due to those by whom the offense came, shall we discern therein any departure from those divine attributes which the believers in a living God always ascribe to Him? Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said "the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether." With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations.
