Davids of the Hour

Davids of the Hour

by Hilly

"Thus says the Lord,

I am raising up my Davids in this hour. I have been preparing them, steadying them, rooting them in Me.

They are like steel. No, they are like titanium. They will not only use the slingshot effectively, but these that I am raising up, will also cut off the heads of Goliath in the Land. Sharply and decisively. They are indestructible, unaware of the fray around them.

They do what they are supposed to do. What they have been born to do.

Nothing can stop them. Many consider them violent.

They care not what people think of them.

They only do what their Father asks them to do.

They are fearless.

They are lightning rods in the hand of the Lord.

They are a prized possession.

They cannot be stopped.

They devour all that is in their path.

Woe to those that try and oppose them.

Those that oppose them are annihilated without mercy.

They are hated with the most perfect hatred.

They are hated for their single-minded devotion to the Lord.

But they are steadfast. They are not moved.

Who can withstand their assault? They trample upon their enemies.

They are successful in all they have been called to do.

They are given the Spirit without limits. Who can stand before them? Who can oppose them?

They are victorious and mighty.

They have been prepared for the hour at hand.

They are deadly in their accuracy.

Tremble in the presence of the Holy ones. Tremble in the presence of the Lord.

Does not His word come to pass as it is written?

All that has been written will come to pass.

Look and see the Holy ones who stand on the mountain of the Lord.

They are coming. The Davids of the hour"

Prophets Move Out Principalities

Prophets Move Out Principalities (21:17 - 22:20)

Judges 15:14-16:  "And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men."

Jeremiah 1:10:  "See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant."

Zechariah 4:6:  "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."

THE DEATH OF ABU MUSAB AL-ZARQAWI

THE DEATH OF ABU MUSAB AL-ZARQAWI

Dreams from the LORD 2003-2006
14 June 2006

Exactly a week ago (7 June 2006) the al-Qaeda terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike. Thank God, he’s dead. The interesting thing is that the Holy Ghost was burning me up for at least two days before I heard that al-Zarqawi died (I heard about his death on Thursday). I told Jeremy on Wednesday night that something big was going to happen because I was burning up in the Holy Ghost. The same thing happened just before Saddam Hussein was captured—the Holy Ghost was on me very powerfully the day and night before I heard about his capture.

I don’t know if all intercessors go through what I go through, but I do believe when the Holy Ghost is burning me up like that, a principality or power of darkness is taken out. The anointing breaks the yoke of sin; the anointing breaks the yoke of oppression.

It is nice to know that the United States has such powerful secret weapons in its arsenal: Holy Ghost intercessors; Holy Ghost warriors.

I do believe that the power of the Holy Ghost causes great confusion in the enemy’s camp. About two or so months ago, I was at the shelter in Riverton and there was this guy staying there who just got out of prison. He didn’t like me very much and started to become very loud and obnoxious towards me. All of a sudden, the Holy Ghost came on me very strong, so I went for a walk. I came back to the shelter and that guy’s attitude totally changed—he was confused and convicted of sin. The next morning, he was very nice to me and talked to me in a very civilized manner. I later learned that he had spent seven years in prison for aggravated assault, so the guy has some violent demons in him.

I believe the power of the Holy Ghost is getting stronger and stronger in intercessors everywhere. We will see more and more victories over sin and wicked men. The fortresses of Satan will fall and crumble because of the Holy Ghost Fire.

D-Day, 2017: British and American Christianity

Dreams from the LORD 2011-2017
13 January 2017
Last night I had two dreams.
In the first dream, I was an officer in the British Army.  I was dressed in a uniform that the British wore in World War I.  There were all of these British soldiers lined up in a straight line and marching past me.  As they marched past me, I would hold out my fist and each soldier would bump his fist with my fist. Every time one of the soldiers gave me a fist-bump, I would say, "Go."  It looked like we were preparing for an invasion---something like D-Day in 1944.
In the second dream, I was with this elite American group of fighters.  It looked like we were Navy SEALs, Delta Force or mercenaries.  We were dressed in black and had black camouflage paint on our faces.  Someone handed us our weapons; I was given a submachine gun.  We were getting ready to go on some night operation.
This dream is about intercession/spiritual warfare.  I believe this dream means that the Lord is mobilizing British and American Christians to invade and destroy certain aspects of Satan's kingdom/world system.  With Great Britain leaving the European Union (Brexit) and the United States voting Donald Trump into the White House in 2016, we are now ready to destroy Satanic strongholds like Globalization (Global Elites), ISIS, abortion, homosexuality (the left-wing anti-family agenda), the United Nations (which is pro-Islam and anti-Israel) enviro-paganism (the lies of climate change/global warming), Marxist ideology and other strongholds.
The official date of this invasion may be 20 January 2017 when Donald Trump becomes the 45th President of the United States.  The British and American Christians have been fighting/praying/preparing for years for such a time as this.  This dream is not just about British and American Christians, because Christians all over the world are fighting/praying against the strategies of Satan (the gates of hell). This dream was very positive:  there will be many victories in the future for those who follow Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 54: 17:  "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."

Vital Intercession

Oswald Chambers, 1874-1917

"As we continue on in our intercession for others, we may find that our obedience to God in interceding is going to cost those for whom we intercede more than we ever thought. The danger in this is that we begin to intercede in sympathy with those whom God was gradually lifting up to a totally different level in direct answer to our prayers. Whenever we step back from our close identification with God’s interest and concern for others and step into having emotional sympathy with them, the vital connection with God is gone. We have then put our sympathy and concern for them in the way, and this is a deliberate rebuke to God.
"It is impossible for us to have living and vital intercession unless we are perfectly and completely sure of God. And the greatest destroyer of that confident relationship to God, so necessary for intercession, is our own personal sympathy and preconceived bias. Identification with God is the key to intercession, and whenever we stop being identified with Him it is because of our sympathy with others, not because of sin. It is not likely that sin will interfere with our intercessory relationship with God, but sympathy will. It is sympathy with ourselves or with others that makes us say, 'I will not allow that thing to happen.' And instantly we are out of that vital connection with God.
"Vital intercession leaves you with neither the time nor the inclination to pray for your own 'sad and pitiful self.' You do not have to struggle to keep thoughts of yourself out, because they are not even there to be kept out of your thinking. You are completely and entirely identified with God’s interests and concerns in other lives. God gives us discernment in the lives of others to call us to intercession for them, never so that we may find fault with them."

Do not remain silent

This is from the blog Daily Meditation:

Esther 4:14: For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

You cannot keep quiet when you see injustice around you. You need to raise your voice and be part of the solution, allowing God to use you. You are the change-agent this world is waiting for. Your little positive action in your little corner of influence has eternal repercussion and will not go unrewarded.

If you cannot do anything, you can pray. When you move the hand of God in prayer, you get to change things on the earth, as it is written; whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, the same for whatever you loose on earth. Every prayer effort is real effort.

You may not be able to speak with the President on the need for change but you can speak to God. Paul told Timothy that he wants him to give priority to praying for all men (1Timothy 2:1-6), for kings and all decision-makers so that we might live in peace, godliness and honesty.

We are agents of God on the earth, and as we engage in prayer, saying: let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10). One of the things in heaven is peace. You can draw the peace in heaven to the earth through prayer. We cannot presume, in whatever nation you are, that because there is peace now there will always be peace (which also involved all things that make for prosperity), you need to stand in the gap in the place of prayer to bring the reality of heaven to the earth.

You cannot remain silent when the spiritual atmosphere of a place is being taken over by darkness. We cannot say it is the end of time and leave our role in the place of prayer, allowing things to go into decay. We need to execute kingdom authority in the here and now in this generation. In the last but one psalm, the psalmist revealed that the people of God have the privilege to bind the forces of darkness.

In the place of prayer we get to wrestle against principalities and power to weaken their influences in the realm of men (Ephesians 6:10-18). Our presence of earth should have impact on the operation of the devil. We should shine as light. We open our mouth to resist the devil on the earth (James 4:7) and also loose the presence of God(in light) to come into operation and bring divine liberation to men.

Esther in the focus verse was asked to speak to the king, to get him to act against the enemy’s intention for the children of Israel. Apparently she was safe in the palace of the king; she had hidden her identity while in the contest to be the queen of the land, and now she is queen. But when her people (Israelites) were in trouble (set up to be killed and assaulted on a particular day throughout the land), through the machination of Haman, she had to intercede for them with the king and not keep silent. In this wise, she cannot think of herself, of how dangerous it is for her to approach the king (to go to the king without being invited is to risk being killed). To speak up for others means you have some measure of selflessness, like Christ (Matthew 20:28).

When the apostles got into trouble with the Pharisee who threatened that they should not preach in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:1-33), the church, the bride of Christ prayed and the power of God was released to make even more miracles to happen in the name of Jesus; so that the threat against the church only served to fuel more work of God in the midst of the land, when the church called on God. (No threat should make you shut up; continue to call on God in prayer.) Likewise, on the day Israelites were to be killed, through the intercession of Esther, they were the one plundering their enemies. They were greatly feared.

Mordecai wanted Esther to speak up for the children of Israel, so that relief and deliverance can come for them through her effort. It is the same thing the blood of Jesus does for us; the book of Hebrews says that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Abel spoke out in demand for vengeance (Genesis 4:10, Hebrews 11:4, Revelation 6:10), while the blood of Jesus speaks out in demand for justification and redemption for anyone who believes that he has a hand in the death of Jesus; that Jesus died for him. To say Jesus died for you means you acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a saviour, and that Jesus is that saviour, with that you are saved. Jesus did not seek for revenge, having accepted the call to be the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world.

Cain had a hand in the death of Abel, he was responsible for the shedding of his blood and he was judged for it, we have a hand in the death of Jesus because he died for our sins, and because he rose from the dead, Jesus was able to be a source of eternal salvation for those who believe in him. His blood cried for mercy for us. Jesus’ last request from God concerning man was: forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing (Luke 23:34).
Those who believe in him have passed from death to life, from darkness to light because of the better things that his blood speaks. They receive the gift of forgiveness.

Since he is the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world in the order of the Old Testament sacrificial system, the blood of Jesus speaks forgiveness of sins, it speaks mercy, it speaks justification, and it speaks sanctification.

Because it is through the blood that our conscience gets purged from dead works (Hebrews 9:14), making ready a place for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, therefore the blood speaks for the operation of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Since the Holy Spirit cannot act except when there it is holiness, the blood is important for our relationship with God because it is the Holy Spirit who makes intimate relationship with God possible.

The blood speaks up for our relief and deliverance. It is in the context of that that Jesus is said to ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25). His blood is constantly speaking for us, making us objects of God’s favour in perpetuity.

The reality of the blood constantly speaking on our behalf is the guarantee that we will be with the Lord in perpetuity, that our sins have been taken away and we are free from bondage to it. That means the blood of Jesus speaks freedom from sin. John declared the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins (1John 1:7). In the blood is our relief for eternal damnation and deliverance from satanic bondage. (Satanic bondage operates through death which also operates through sin [Hebrews 2:14-15, Romans 5:12, 14].)

What about the word of God in your mouth? We have the mandate to declare the word of God. The word of God represents the will of God, and it is by declaring the word that we declare the will of God. We are God’s spokesmen to declare his counsel, and cause his will to be done on earth. Put his word in your mouth. The bible says you shall decree a thing and it will be established to you (Job 22:28).

A Parable about Lukewarm, American Christianity

There was this man who was a great warrior.  He had been in many battles over the years.  His body had many scars from bullet wounds, bayonet thrusts and artillery barrages.  He was a sergeant in the army and he was 45 years old.

There was a platoon of soldiers dug in on some high ground---they were of the same army as the sergeant.  The average age of the soldiers in the platoon was 19 years old; they were led by a 24-year-old 2nd lieutenant.

Ten miles away was an enemy force of three thousand soldiers.  The sergeant placed himself between the platoon and the enemy.  Whenever the enemy sent their soldiers to attack the platoon, the sergeant killed them with his rifle.  This pattern continued for many weeks:  the enemy would send their soldiers to attack the platoon and the sergeant would kill them all.  The platoon was never touched, it was never in danger.  The sergeant was their hedge of protection against the enemy.

One day the sergeant walked to the platoon to see how they were doing.  The sergeant walked up to the 2nd lieutenant and told him about the many skirmishes he fought with the enemy, so as to protect the platoon.

The 2nd lieutenant looked at the sergeant in stunned disbelief. He didn't believe a word the sergeant said and began mocking him and ridiculing him. The 2nd lieutenant told the rest of the platoon what the sergeant had said and the whole platoon began laughing at the sergeant in derision.

The sergeant didn't say another word.  He shouldered his pack, his rifle and ammo and walked away from the platoon.  Fifty yards from where the platoon was dug in, he took off his boots and shook the dirt from his boots in plain sight of the platoon.  He put his boots back on and walked away.  The platoon never saw him again.

A week later, the enemy launched an attack on the platoon's position and killed all of the soldiers.

I Samuel 25: 14-17:  "But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and he railed on them.  But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields:  They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep.  Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him."

I Samuel 25:   "Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow hath in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him: and he hath requited me evil for good. So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall."

Shiloh
By Tim Shey

Brutal deathdance;
My eyes weep blood.
Pharisees smile like vipers,
They laugh and mock their venom:
Blind snakes leading
The deaf and dumb multitude.

Where are my friends?
The landscape is dry and desolate.
They have stretched my shredded body
On this humiliating tree.

The hands that healed
And the feet that brought good news
They have pierced
With their fierce hatred.

The man-made whip
That opened up my back
Preaches from a proper pulpit.
They sit in comfort:
That vacant-eyed congregation.
The respected, demon-possessed reverend
Forks his tongue
Scratching itchy ears
While Cain bludgeons
Abel into silence.

My flesh in tattered pieces
Clots red and cold and sticks
To the rough-hewn timber
That props up my limp, vertical carcase
Between heaven and earth.
My life drips and puddles
Below my feet,
As I gaze down dizzily
On merciless eyes and dagger teeth.

The chapter-and-versed wolves
Jeer and taunt me.
Their sheepwool clothing
Is stained black with the furious violence
Of their heart of stone.
They worship me in lip service,
But I confess,
I never knew them
(Though they are my creation).

My tongue tastes like ashes:
It sticks to the roof of my mouth.
I am so thirsty.
This famine is too much for me.
The bulls of Bashan have bled me white.
Papa, into your hands
I commend my Spirit.

The Downfall of Babylon

Isaiah 66: 15-16: "For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many."

Jeremiah 51: 27-32: "Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers. Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion. And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant. The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken. One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end, And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted."

Jeremiah 51: 54-58: "A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans: Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered: Because the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite. And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary."

Babylon is a spiritual city whose influence covers the whole earth. The king of Babylon is Satan. The gates of this city are the strategies of Satan. These strategies of Satan are destroyed by the power of the Holy Ghost--the Holy Ghost Fire that flows freely through those who are truly surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ (see Intercession and Paga).

Jeremiah 51: 58: ". . . her high gates [long-term strategies] shall be burned with fire [Holy Ghost Fire]."

Two Emails (Intercession)

I recently sent two emails to a Christian lady that I know. In these emails, I tried to explain to her my work of intercessory prayer. There are different levels of intercession just like there are different levels of Christian maturity or spirituality.

When Samson took the jawbone of an ass and killed one thousand Philistines, this was a physical foreshadowing of the spiritual warfare that intercessors do in the New Testament—those who are surrendered to Christ. I love the word “surrender”; Watchman Nee once wrote that the word “surrender” is a better and more powerful word than “submit”. I would like to think that if a Christian is truly surrendered to Christ, that he is truly dissolved into Christ.

_____

19 January 2011

I just read your comment and you asked about intercession. It is probably providential that you asked because, earlier today, I was talking with a Christian lady and I tried to explain to her my intercessory work.

There are different levels of intercession. You can pray in English and ask the Lord for wisdom or strength. You can pray in tongues. Back in 1992 the Lord told me not to pray in English; He told me to obey Him and let the Holy Ghost/Presence of God flow through me and satanic strongholds would be taken out [the phrase “and satanic strongholds would be taken out” was an understanding that came later in my life]. Most people don't know what I mean by intercession (or my work of intercession). It is a lifestyle of obedience to the Lord. Since I am obeying Him (taking up my cross and following Him—dying to self), He will glorify my body and this is what destroys satanic strongholds. You can also call it rapture.

There is no such thing as a bodily or physical rapture. Rapture is spiritual—you are rapt up into the Presence of God. It can be very powerful. One time I was burning up in the Holy Ghost (glorification/rapture)—and when this happens, it feels like your eyes are going to burn right out of their sockets, it is so intense. Sometimes it is hard to see. Sometimes people see the light coming out of your eyes and it scares the tar out of them. Anyway, one time I was burning up in the Holy Ghost and the next day Saddam Hussein was captured. This other time I was burning up in the Holy Ghost and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed the next day.

The Lord uses my intercession to destroy satanic (Muslim or anything satanic) strongholds–-it is very strategic and it is very hard for me to explain it to people.

There is a post on my blog called "Intercession". You may want to read it sometime.

Right now I am in Dubois, Wyoming; I should be heading to Jackson tomorrow.

Sincerely, Tim

_____

You don't have to pray in tongues to be in tune with the Holy Ghost. You definitely are sensitive to the Holy Ghost because it is all over your blog. I have met tongue talkers who were spiritually dead.

My intercession is not using words—English or tongues. The Lord glorifies my body and this is what removes the satanic stronghold. I do pray in English or tongues once in a while, but that is a different kind of intercession.

About Saddam Hussein: No, I did not consciously pray for his capture. The Presence of God was very strong on me for a day or two before his capture and I know that the two were linked. In my intercession, I do not consciously pray or think of anything: it is the power of God flowing through me because I have willingly laid my life down (died to self) and let the Lord run my life. Too many Christians do their own thing and call it the will of God and they wonder why the Lord doesn't do anything powerful in their lives.

Yes, I am still hitchhiking. I might be in one place for one to three nights and then I hit the road. I am always going, always walking and hitchhiking. I would rather not, but this is God's will for my life. Mount Moriah revisited.

Sincerely, Tim

Notes from Zechariah

Dreams from the LORD 2011
16 January 2011

Zechariah 1: 6: “Like as the Lord of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.”

Barack Obama is in the White House because there is so much sin in the United States—God’s judgment.

Zechariah 2: 5: “For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”

“A wall of fire.” Glorified body. Spiritual rapture. Intercession. “At the rebuke of His countenance they fled.” Holy Ghost Fire.

Zechariah 2: 7: “Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.”

“Come out from among them and be ye separate.”

Zechariah 4: 6: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

The sword has power. The pen is mightier than the sword. The Holy Ghost is more powerful than the pen and the sword.

Zechariah 9: 13: “When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.”

We are the weapon that the Lord wields in His hand. In the New Testament, the jawbone of an ass is a subject; in the Old Testament, the jawbone is an object. If we abide in Christ (Zion), we will defeat the world system (Greece).

Zechariah 12: 3-5: “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.”

Those who attack the believers who abide in the Presence of God (Zion, Jerusalem) shall be confounded and defeated.

Zechariah 12: 6: “In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.”

New Jerusalem. The Kingdom of Heaven. The Holy Ghost Fire shall defeat the satanic strongholds that keep people in bondage. “Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.” Alpha and Omega [Aleph/Tav]. From here to here. “Be still and know that I am God.” Abide in the peace and stillness of Christ (Jesus, the Sabbath Rest) and watch your enemies (demons) scatter.

Zechariah 13: 6: “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”

“The house of my friends.” Jesus was rejected and crucified by most Jewish church people. Jesus is rejected today by most Christian church people. Either most people will never learn or a sin is a sin is a sin and most people don’t like to be convicted of sin (so get rid of the guy who convicts us of sin, but do not get rid of our own sin).

Zechariah 13: 9: “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.”

Believers purified by the Holy Ghost Fire. They will hear the voice of the Lord and obey the Lord (the Word, not the Bible).

Zechariah 14: 17-18: “And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be a plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.”

The people who refuse to enter into the Presence of God will not be blessed; they will live in spiritual dryness.

Holy Ghost Fire

The next morning he was very nice to me and talked to me in a very civilized manner.

I was listening to an interview with John “Shrek” McPhee. He was a Delta Operator that fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was in the U.S. Army from around 1991 to 2011.

When they were hunting Saddam Hussein, they found out that Saddam’s inner circle were Christians. I think it was because Saddam could trust the Christians.

Samson: A One-Man Wrecking Crew

Judges 13: 3-5: "And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazirite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines."

Judges 13: 25: "And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol."

Judges 14: 4: "But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel." Here is the Sovereignty of God. In God's economy, He uses EVERYBODY to effect His will in the earth--believers and unbelievers. Believers should know this, but unbelievers don't have a clue. The Lord uses us even when we think our lives have no impact on others. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Judges 14: 5-6: "Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done."

Judges 14: 19: "And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house."

Judges 15: 14-17: "And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramath-lehi."

Physical warfare in the Old Testament is a foreshadowing of spiritual warfare in the New Testament.

When the Holy Ghost fell on Samson, he had the power to physically subdue the enemies of Israel. When the Holy Ghost falls on a Blood-washed believer in Jesus Christ, he has the power to confuse and remove satanic strongholds (e.g. principalities and powers of darkness) in heaven and earth (Hebrews 12: 26: "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven."). He also has the power to deliver himself and others from demonic bondage.

Wherever the Lord positions you in the earth, that is where His Spirit will flow through you, so that He can use you like the jawbone of an ass to defeat satanic strongholds. In the Old Testament, the jawbone of an ass was an object; in the New Testament, the jawbone of an ass is a subject. If you abide in Christ, you are the subject, you are "the jawbone of an ass" that the Lord uses to subdue His enemies in heaven and earth. See the Hebrew word paga (below).

All of this Holy Ghost Warfare (intercession) is predicated on obedience to the Lord.

Paga (Intercession)

Dreams from the LORD 2007-2010
10 December 2008

INTERCESSION (Strong’s 6293 Paga)

Paga: Hebrew for “intercession,” has many different meanings which help us to understand intercession. Listed below are six different ways paga is translated which help in better understanding intercession.

1. Paga: (Judges 8: 21; I Samuel 22: 17-18; II Samuel 1: 15; I Kings 2: 29)

In all these verses, the Hebrew word paga is translated “to fall upon” meaning to kill or destroy. These verses all refer to obedience to “fall upon” the King’s enemies at the King’s command.

So we are called to “fall upon” the King of King’s enemies (which are demon powers) and destroy their works.

2. Paga: (Genesis 28: 11, 16; Job 36: 32)

In these verses, paga is translated to “light upon”, meaning to hit the exact place God intended. The first example is Jacob, who just happened to “light upon” (paga), the exact place God wanted him to. After God had spoken to him, he confesses to the fact that God is in this place, and he didn’t know it. God had caused him to “light upon” a certain place where Jacob could be spoken to.

The second example is in Job and should be read in many translations. The New International Version states “He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.”

The New International Version translates paga to “strike its mark.” This means it hit exactly where God intended.

God-causes are paga, intercession, to hit the exact place needed. Like Jacob, we might not know we are in the exact place God wanted us to be in, we might have just prayed in a certain way or spoke in the Spirit. Then we find God has caused us to (paga) hit the exact mark. Compare this with New Testament verses: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the heart knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” (Romans 8: 26-27)

3. Paga: (Exodus 23: 4; Joshua 2: 16; I Samuel 10: 5)

In these verses, paga is translated “to meet” as in contact. The first time paga is translated “to meet” is when a lost animal is met, the finder should return it to its owner. We in intercession contact lost souls and pray them back to their Creator.

4. Paga: (Joshua 19: 11, 22, 26, 27 & 34)

In these verses, paga is translated “reaches” referring to boundaries set up for each tribe of Israel. The land they were given reached from one point to another.

God-causes are paga, to “reach” all of the appointed blessings He has in store for us. When we are restricted from our God-given blessing (possessions), we should intercede (paga) and the intercession will deal with the restriction.

5. Paga: (Judges 18: 25)

Translates to “run” upon and destroy. In this verse, you see the violent force of intercession (paga).

6. Paga: (Isaiah 53: 12; 59: 16; Jeremiah 7: 16; 27: 18; 36: 25)

In these verses, the word paga is translated “intercession”. God reveals in these verses what to pray (intercede) for and what not to pray for. (Jeremiah 17: 16)

Intercession is a combination of understanding prayers and spiritual praying or praying in the Spirit.

Conclusion: The word paga translates many ways and when taken together, a powerful type of intercession is seen.

1. An intercession that destroys the King’s enemies.
2.
An intercession that hits the exact mark.

3. An intercession that is involved with praying for the lost.
4. An intercession that sets boundaries.
5. An intercession that is violent against the kingdom of darkness.

Intercession

Old Testament Intercession

Judges 14: 5-6: "Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done."

I Samuel 25: 7: "And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel."

I Samuel 25: 15-16: "But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields. They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep."

I Samuel 25: 23-26: "And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground. And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid. Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send. Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal."

I Samuel 25: 28: "I pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my Lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth the battles of the LORD, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days."

II Kings 1: 9-10: "Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty."

Job 42: 10: "And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends."

New Testament Intercession

Romans 8: 18-19: "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory [glorification, rapture, Holy Fire] which shall be REVEALED IN US. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God."

Romans 8: 26-27: "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but
THE SPIRIT ITSELF MAKETH INTERCESSION FOR US with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

Matthew 3: 11-12: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: HE SHALL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND WITH FIRE: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but HE WILL BURN UP THE CHAFF WITH UNQUENCHABLE FIRE."

John 17: 9-11: "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are."

John 17: 15-16: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

John 17: 20-22: "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one."

Ephesians 6: 18: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."

II Thessalonians 1: 7-10: "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day."

II Thessalonians 2: 8: "And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming."

Hebrews 7: 25: "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

James 5: 16: "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Revelation 1: 14-16: "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength."

Revelation 19: 12-15: "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."

Revelation 19: 21: "And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

__________

"Identification is the key to intercession, and whenever we stop being identified with God, it is by sympathy, not sin."

"Vicarious intercession* means that we deliberately substitute God's interests in others for our natural sympathy with them."

[*Vicarious: "Performed or suffered by one person as a substitute or to the benefit or advantage of another: SUBSTITUTIONARY: ." --Webster's Third New International Dictionary]

"Am I fulfilling the ministry of the interior? There is no snare or any danger of infatuation or pride in intercession, it is a hidden ministry that brings forth fruit whereby the Father is glorified . . .The disciple who abides in Jesus is the will of God, and his apparently free choices are God's fore-ordained decrees. Mysterious? Logically contradictory and absurd? Yes, but a glorious truth to a saint."

"The circumstances of a saint's life are ordained of God. In the life of a saint there is no such thing as chance. God by His providence brings you into circumstances that you cannot understand at all, but the Spirit of God understands. God is bringing you into places and among people and into conditions in order that the intercession of the Spirit in you may take a particular line. Never put your hand in front of the circumstances and say--I am going to be my own providence here, I must watch this, and guard that. All your circumstances are in the hand of God, therefore never think it strange concerning the circumstances you are in. Your part in intercessory prayer is not to enter into the agony of intercession, but to utilize the common-sense circumstances God puts you in, and the common-sense people He puts you amongst by His providence, to bring them before God's throne and give the Spirit in you a chance to intercede for them. In this way God is going to sweep the whole world with His saints.

"Am I making the Holy Spirit's work difficult by being indefinite, or by trying to do His work for Him? I must do the human side of intercession, and the human side is the circumstances I am in and the people I am in contact with. I have to keep my conscious life as a shrine of the Holy Ghost, then as I bring the different ones before God, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for them.

"Your intercessions can never be mine, and my intercessions can never be yours, but the Holy Ghost makes intercession in our particular lives, without which intercession someone will be impoverished."

--Oswald Chambers
